I am a celebrant with the Humanist Society Scotland, authorised to conduct legal weddings in Scotland and registered to conduct funerals and naming ceremonies. I live in Stirlingshire with my husband and our canine rascal who we rescued a few years ago. I am perfectly situated for travelling across central Scotland and Loch Lomond is just a short drive away. Although my children are all grown up, they are never too far away so my role of 'mum' has shifted from hands-on parenting to being the expert provider of unsolicited advice and the official keeper of embarrassing childhood stories!
I have worked in a number of different capacities and when one of my children was born with Down's Syndrome I decided to study Speech and Language Therapy. After graduating I worked with young people with learning difficulties and in addition to having an understanding of different communication needs, I am able to use my professional skills when it comes to meeting couples and families, writing scripts, speaking and helping people through the best and worst days of their lives.
I have been conducting ceremonies since 2016 and will work closely with you to create an inclusive and personal ceremony, reflecting your beliefs, values and unique experiences.
